A little note before the year ends

It’s been wonderful to take a proper break from work for a few days, eat a little too much, and collapse in front of some Christmas TV.

The last two months have been hectic - but also really exciting. November saw the opening of my solo show at Harman Projects in NYC. It was such a fantastic evening, so thank you so much if you made it along to see the show or picked up a copy of Dog Only Knows. I was signing books for over two hours and absolutely loved meeting you all (and your dogs!).

While I was in NYC, I squeezed in a visit to Best Friends Animal Society New York to sign some books, do some sketching, and - most importantly - fall in love with all the dogs and cats! It’s a good job I live in a different country, or it would have been very hard not to adopt one of them.

I arrived home from the trip to find my new studio almost complete (it wasn’t there at all when I left!), which was beyond thrilling. All that remained were a few finishing touches, and then it was ready for me to move in. I’m still pinching myself - this is a dream I’ve had for so long, and suddenly here I am in my own dedicated studio, sipping a coffee and writing this mailer.

We’re nearly at the end of the year - and what a year it’s been. We have big things planned for the new year, and I can’t wait to share them with you. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your support over the past year, and to wish you happiness and health in the year ahead.
