Hello Friends!

July has been a bit of a funny month, with some unexpected challenges. I’ve still been busy in the studio and the weather has even been nice enough to sketch outside in the garden.

We also got some walks in with my favourite crazy border collie!

One of the highlights of my month was chatting to some of the newsletter subscribers. The life of an artist can be quite a solitary one, so it’s good to be tempted out of my burrow from time to time, and chat to the lovely people who support my work.
We ran a special draw for subscribers, and the prize was to be part of a Zoom call with me in the studio in Manchester. Emma, Claire and Tina thanks for the chats it was lovely.

I beaver-away in the studio and send my little Friends out into the world – so it’s really lovely to chat about my work and get some direct feedback about how they’ve been received. At the end of the call, I was able to surprise my guests with a voucher code for a free print.

I’d love to do it again some time!

We’re busy preparing for the next Print Drop. It features something a little different this time, and I can’t possibly let slip who my special guest is going to be… Put it this way – I’m more than a tiny bit excited about it 😉
